Where Grok Bot Breaks
Treating bots as a security wall, unattended work without acceptance, secrets in chat, hiring a fleet first. A teammate's false completion is “it has been busy.”
Cloud-teammate misses are rarely “it cannot talk.” It stays busy. Busy is not acceptance. Start with debug the process first.xai-bot
After reading, you should be able to answer:
- What does each of the four misses look like?
- Why is “it is still running” not good news on its own?
- How is this different from the other three products?
Four false completions
- Treating a bot as a security wall. Files and login state on the shared computer are visible to each other by default. Isolation is accounts and stops, not role names. See hire by business lane.
- Unattended work without acceptance. It ran overnight; morning is a pile of actions. Write the report format into the brief, sample-check, and force questions when unsure. Do not guess.
- Secrets in chat. Written into every later context that can still be read. Use the dedicated path. See red lines.
- Hiring a fleet first. No closed loop, five titles waiting on each other. Dump context, then one job first.
Pay, send, and new logins stop until you say so.
Busy is not done
Teammate shape looks like work by default: pages open, apps clicked, summaries written. Without a report format and a sample check, those actions cannot be accepted. Coding work blocks false completion with a command. Office work blocks it with the original. Teammate work blocks it with the artifact that comes back. No artifact, and you are still asking questions — the questions just moved into the cloud.
