Where WorkBuddy Breaks
A pile of features and no accepted job, permission left wide, automation with no stop. A workbench's false completion is “it looks like it can do everything.”
Workbench misses do not look like a false office file, or like a red test. It looks like it can do everything, so you think you already know how to use it. Start with debug the process first.workbuddy-guide
After reading, you should be able to answer:
- What does each of the four misses look like?
- Why is “lots of features” not progress?
- How is this different from the other three products?
Four kinds of fake progress
- Features first. Skills and connectors are full; no accepted real job exists. Do one real job first.
- Permission left wide. Local disk and external accounts stay on. Open per job, revoke after. See red lines.
- Automation with no stop. Failure keeps running; irreversible acts sit in the flow. Write stops into the skill, not into an apology.
- No acceptance. Right versus wrong is invisible on the spot; you only see “done.” Acceptance has to be checkable on the desk.
A feature list is not progress
A workbench will show many things it can connect. That is a menu, not your method. Progress only counts: which job you have done, whether the skeleton remains, whether the next run can swap the object and still finish. Cloud-teammate misses have another shape. See where Grok Bot breaks.
