Draw the Boundary Before You Connect Company Context
Connecting company documents lets it see your material. It does not hand over the inside of the company. Smallest scope, read-only first, public voice still checked by a person.
This is the real split between office products and coding products: it can connect to the documents and collaboration you already use. That is a capability and a risk. Before you connect, ask three questions: which material does this job need to see? Is read-only the default? What must never leave through this path.doubao-home
After reading, you should be able to answer:
- Why does “connect everything, then work” empty out acceptance?
- After you connect, how do you write object and bounds in the five things?
- What still cannot be assigned even after it can see the material?
Scope the object for this job
Company documents are not a switch. They are the object of this assignment. Which files, which space, which window of time — that is the first of the five things. Connect everything first, and permission stays on: the process no longer asks whether it should see, only that it already did. That is the same line as least privilege in red lines.
Retrieval can leave. Outbound cannot. Internal material landing where it should not — a public draft, an external inbox, another product — is irreversible.
Read-only first, revoke after
Read-only by default. Writes into company space are high-risk writes: name them in the plan, confirm them on release, revoke after. Room messages, live docs, and tables all look like “already inside.” To the product they are one kind of object: the material you scoped in. What you did not scope does not exist.
Voice still stays with you
Once it can see the material, it gets better at sounding like someone inside. That is the hazard: public voice, unpublished numbers, people, and money still cannot be assigned. A person checks those. See what to keep. How daily work reuses the skeleton is next.
