Where Doubao Work Breaks
Thin sources get invented, overwritten originals kill the comparison, numbers go unchecked, company context becomes full access. None of that depends on button names.
Office-product misses rarely look like errors. They come back as a readable file. So you check against the source, not against tone. Start with debug the process first. The four below are the office-side shapes.doubao-home
After reading, you should be able to answer:
- What does each of the four misses look like?
- Why is “readable” not acceptance?
- How is this different from where Codex breaks?
Four false completions
- Thin sources. No minutes, yet it writes “the meeting decided.” Write the object. Stop if it is missing. Do not fill.
- The original was edited. Nothing was saved aside, the comparison is gone, rollback is luck. The first job already has to save aside. See the first reversible office job.
- Numbers nobody checked. The note reads well and the detail rows disagree. Recompute is acceptance. The closing line is not. See how to verify an answer.
- Company context as full access. Once connected, it can see, write, and send everything. Scope per job, read-only first. See company context.
Send, overwrite, or ship internal material out of the company: red lines.
Readable is not done
Office artifacts look ready by default: a title, paragraphs, a chart. That is where false completion grows. Acceptance only counts a comparison: the source is still there, the numbers recompute, the original did not move. Coding work uses green and red commands. When office work has no command, the source material is the command.
Versus Codex
Codex misses are often pushing while broken, and encyclopedia rules. Doubao Work misses are often invented material and edited originals. Fix the handoff first, then switch products. Desktop-workbench misses are in where WorkBuddy breaks.
